Our activities focus primarily on the scientific studies on biology and ecology of the endangered species of birds, wetland conservation, biodiversity surveys relating with the proposed infrastructures (wind farming and powerline), protected areas, critical wildlife habitat, sustainable use of the environment, and public education.

International Falconry Day is celebrated

    Mongolian bird conservation center implements the IAF School links programme in Mongolia which is the official conservation program of International Association for Falconry. According to the program, we celebrated the World Falconry Day in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 16-17th November, 2017. It was joint event which was collaborating with Mongolian Falconry Association and Mongol Falconry Club and the students from ‘’Naran, Baigali Ekh Lycee and Etugen’’ secondary schools in Ulaanbaatar. During the event, we presented the presentations about the Falconry and its history, conservation and its importance. The members from the Association and the Club brought their live falcons and hawks and showed to the students that how those birds hunt in the field and choose the their prey etc.
